How it works

  1. Data capture

    Source data is loaded from core banking and the institution's other systems.

  2. Processing and validation

    Data is transformed, cross-checked and validated against BNR schemas or your own rules.

  3. Generation

    Each report comes out in the format the authority requires: XML, XBRL, Excel, CSV, DBF, TXT or PDF.

  4. Audit

    Every step and every adjustment is recorded, for internal control and for auditors.

Why a separate reporting environment

Reporting means processing large volumes of source data that may live on different machines, platforms or applications. Running a report during the day can slow down production, and the people preparing reports need room to analyse, adjust and model scenarios – without putting source data at risk.

That is why BI PRO keeps reporting apart from production. Daily operations run undisturbed, while the reporting team works on a flexible platform with a simple interface, where they can make adjustments and extra validations before submitting.

Management reports

Alongside mandatory reporting, the module provides a standard set of summary reports, organised by module and department. Each user can customise them, and the administrator can define new aggregations. Analysis is multidimensional, focused on:

  • client activity;
  • profit centre activity;
  • performance indicators specific to financial institutions.

Accounting data updates in real time: every transaction confirmed in the operational departments is reflected immediately in the accounting core, along with each product’s off-balance-sheet details (maturities, interest rates).

Characteristics

  • Many output formats – Excel, CSV, XBRL, XML, TXT, PDF, DBF.
  • Cross-validation – against BNR validation schemas or the institution’s own.
  • Configurable report engine – the administrator can change reports at any time, with no programming.
  • Flexible data structures – classifications and groupings for everything authorities ask for.
  • Full audit trail – every activity is recorded.

  • Compliant
