What data we collect
We only collect the data you send us:

Contact form: name, institution or company, email address, phone number (optional) and your message.

Careers form: last name, first name, email address, phone number, your answers to the form’s questions, links to professional profiles (Google Developers, GitHub/GitLab) and attached files (such as your CV).

Direct correspondence: the data in emails or calls you send us.

Visit statistics – only with your consent: if you accept statistics cookies, Google Analytics collects pseudonymous visit data: pages viewed, approximate country and city, device and browser type, the source of the visit and actions on the site (for example filters used). Full IP addresses are not stored, and advertising features and Google Signals are turned off.
The site uses no advertising and does not profile visitors. For security and operation, the hosting provider records technical access data (IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time).

We make no decisions based solely on automated processing and do not use your data for marketing without your separate consent.
Who we share it with
Only TGS Software staff who need your data to reply to you can access it.
We use Google Firebase, provided by Google Ireland Limited, as a processor for hosting the site, storing messages, sending email notifications and, with your consent, for statistics (Google Analytics). Google may process data outside the European Economic Area; such transfers are protected by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We do not sell or rent personal data. We disclose it to authorities only when the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
- Contact messages: up to 2 years after our last correspondence, then deleted.
- Applications: up to 12 months after receipt, so we can contact you about other suitable roles, or less if you withdraw your consent.
- Google Analytics statistics: 14 months, then deleted automatically.
- Technical access data: according to the hosting provider’s policy, usually a few weeks.
If we enter into a contract, data is kept according to the legal obligations that apply to that contract.
Your rights
Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), you have the right to:
- find out what data we hold about you and get a copy (right of access);
- have inaccurate data corrected (right to rectification);
- have your data erased (right to be forgotten);
- restrict processing;
- receive your data in a structured format (right to portability);
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), 28-30 G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru Blvd., Sector 1, Bucharest, www.dataprotection.ro.
How we protect your data
The site runs exclusively over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Messages and files sent through the forms can only be created from the browser; they can be read, changed or deleted only by authorised staff, from the administration console.

We may update this policy when the way we process data changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
