What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage (localStorage) and IndexedDB.
What we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Consent needed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
tgs-consent |
localStorage | Remembers your cookie choice | until deleted | No – strictly necessary |
_ga |
cookie (Google Analytics) | Tells unique visitors apart, pseudonymously | 13 months | Yes |
_ga_<ID> |
cookie (Google Analytics) | Keeps the state of the visit session | 13 months | Yes |
firebase-heartbeat-database, firebase-installations-database |
IndexedDB (Firebase) | Technical operation of the Firebase library on form pages and, after consent, for statistics | until deleted | No – strictly necessary to send forms |
Statistics (Google Analytics)
If you choose “Accept statistics”, we use Google Analytics through Firebase to learn, in aggregate, which pages are read, which countries and cities visitors come from, which devices they use and which sources bring them (for example search engines or LinkedIn). We also record actions on the site, such as choosing an institution type on the Products page, filters in the report catalogue or submitting a form – without the form’s content.
We have turned off advertising features and Google Signals. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. We do not use the data to identify you personally and do not combine it with other sources.
If you choose “Reject” or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
How to change your choice
Use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page at any time. If you withdraw consent, we stop collection and delete the _ga cookies. You can also delete site data manually in your browser settings.
