Guarantees
The platform provides a single client database, available online from any location within configured permissions, both to the institution’s users and to external agents who collect, store and process information about clients and their products. The database keeps a history of activities and of every access.
The module stores and manages information about the institution’s clients, helping to:
- retain existing clients by responding promptly to their requests or offering new integrated products and services;
- raise conversion of prospects by tracking them through the whole sales process;
- tailor the product and service offer to each client;
- collect the information required for mandatory reporting.
The module supports guarantees across their entire lifecycle. Advanced workflow management follows the user’s own procedures. Workflows can include checkpoints and automated steps at certain stages – for example, generating notifications automatically.
Guarantee management covers:
- guarantee beneficiaries;
- issued guarantees;
- counter-guarantees (guarantees received);
- operations;
- fees;
- reports.
General ledger
The module gives full flexibility in defining the institution’s accounting rules (chart of accounts, posting rules and so on), so the system can work with whatever accounting structure the institution requires.
From the chart of accounts, posting rules and operation types, the system automatically generates accounting entries for every operation in the guarantee data-entry area. The result is high efficiency and strong control over operations.
Data entry and accounting are kept separate: transactions are posted correctly to the ledger without requiring accounting knowledge from the people entering data.
Every module that produces accounting entries uses the operations defined in the posting rules. Each entry is validated by checking, in the posting rules, that the debit/credit pairing between the account sub-groups in the transaction is allowed.
